PomoFomo is a Chrome browser extension that provides a Pomodoro focus timer for children. This policy explains what data the extension handles and how.

Information we collect

PomoFomo does not collect, transmit, store on any server, or share any personal information.

The extension stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Timer settings (focus duration, break duration, character preference, nag mode)
• Timer state (current phase, elapsed time, session count)

This data never leaves your device. It is not accessible to the extension developer or any third party.

Permissions used

PomoFomo requests the following Chrome permissions solely to operate the timer. No permission is used to collect or transmit data.

• alarms — to advance the timer reliably when the browser is idle
• storage — to save your settings and timer state on your device
• tabs — to open, pin, and manage the dedicated timer tab
• notifications — to alert you when focus or break phases change

Third-party services

PomoFomo makes no network requests and uses no third-party services, analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind.

Children's privacy

PomoFomo is designed for use by children under parental supervision. Because the extension collects no data whatsoever, it complies with COPPA (the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and similar regulations.

Changes to this policy

If the extension is ever updated in a way that affects data handling, this policy will be updated and the "Last updated" date will change.
